Best Dates to Buy Textbooks
Visit the University Store to purchase textbooks beginning Monday, August 25.
If you are not a freshman or new student to the campus, the best dates to shop in the store are August 25 - 27, 8:30am - 7pm. The University Store is also open Labor Day Weekend, August 30, 31 and September 1, 10am - 5pm.
If you are a freshman or new student, the best dates to buy textbooks are August 28 and 29 during the campus new student welcome program and through the Labor Day Weekend.
The University Store also has extended store hours during the first week of classes. Please see the Store Hours page for exact times.
These are suggested dates only. Customers may visit the University Store at their convenience.

Fall 2008 Student Textbook Ordering
Notice: The University Store is again accepting online textbook orders for UPS shipment only. The site will be available for ordering 8:30am - 7pm, Monday through Friday.
UPS does not deliver to campus PO Boxes. Please allow 5 to 7 business days from the order date to receive your order.
Online textbook ordering for store pick-up is currently unavailable because the University Store has reached its maximum capacity for processing online orders for pick-up at the store.
The site is still available to search for titles.
You may purchase textbooks at the University Store beginning Monday, August 25.
New and used textbooks may be ordered online for either in-store pick-up or home delivery.
Using the Textbook Order Pick-Up Service (TOPS) program, students can order new or used textbooks online and then choose to pick-up the packaged books at the University Store.
- Books will be ready for pick-up within approximately 7 to 10 business days of the order date. You will be notified by email when your order is ready for pick-up.
- Online orders for in-store pick-up placed after August 20 are not guaranteed to be ready for pick-up by September 2, the first day of classes.
- The in-store pick-up option may be suspended due to time and space constraints for order processing. A notice will be posted online if it is necessary to suspend the service.
- The TOPS service is currently suspended because the University Store has reached the maximum capacity for pick-up orders.
Or select the home delivery option to have the books delivered to their off-campus residence via UPS Ground. When shopping for textbooks, students should have their class schedule to identify the correct tiles based on course and section numbers. Telephone orders and international orders will not be accepted.
